3D 7.1 virtualized surround sounds offers a fully immersive experience in-game. Traditional virtualized surround sound technology focuses too much on the 5.1 and 7.1 aspect, which instead create an unrealistic sound field focused on where the speakers would normally be placed in a 5.1 (front sides, back sides, and center) channel or 7.1 (front sides, immediate left & right sides, back sides, and center) channel surround sound setup.
